Perth, Western Australia

Perth is Australia’s best-kept secret! It is well-known as a friendly, clean, safe and relaxed city, yet offering all the cosmopolitan attractions of a large international city.

Perth offers a Mediterranean climate with warm, sunny summers and mild, rainy winters. Of all the capital cities, Perth enjoys the most hours of sunshine compared to any other

Capital city in Australia. Average temperatures in Perth:
Summer Dec-Feb 20°-35°C
Autumn Mar-May 15°-30°
Winter Jun- Aug 7°-20°
Spring Sep-Nov 15°-25°

Of a recent survey of 130 cities, Perth was ranked by the London-based Economist Intelligence Unit in the top 4 cities in the world in which to live! Perth’s proximity to Hong Kong and Asian partners also means easy access to international flights on a daily basis. There is also no time difference between Hong Kong and Perth.

Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a responsive and forward thinking institution and an Australian leader in the provision of professionally-focused degree programs.
The University has developed strong links with industry, government and research institutes in Australia and overseas. These links help the University to design and develop relevant courses and approach research projects.

Areas of strength include the ‘knowledge-based’ disciplines of Business and Finance, Computing and IT, Media and Communications, Education, Health and Social Sciences,
Nursing, Visual and Performing Arts.
